Our client is looking for a bright and highly motivated Finance Manager to join their dynamic team on their passionate journey to reinvent the future of co-living

Role

In this position, you support the Head of Finance in regards to its duties as Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Financial Controller (FC) and Cash Management (CM), including the following:

  • Prepare forward-looking financials based on historical performance and key assumptions impacting future performance on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis (FP&A)
  • Conduct variance analysis to compare forecast against actual performance (FP&A)
  • Prepare standalone and consolidated management accounts on a quarterly and annual basis (FC)
  • Support our external accountants and ensure that management accounts are in line with audited accounts and accounting standards (FC)
  • Monitor cash positions across the Group to ensure an optimal liquidity (CM)
  • Record and control day-to-day financial operations such as income and expenditures (CM) Assist with implementing financial controls and process improvements across SHM
  • Collaborate to ensure efficiency in all work streams and to help the team drive continual innovation and improvement in all current and future processes

Desired skills & experience

  • Bachelor / Master Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or another quantitative subject
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of accounting, consolidation, budgeting and financial modeling
  • Good Excel knowledge and experience working with large spreadsheets
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to rapidly comprehend complex issues

Salary

  • Up to £80,000 + bonus scheme
